IS IT POSSIBLE TO PREVENT DISEASE?

Updated: Jan 1, 2019

This is a question that has different answers depending on who you ask.

Some people believe they are a victim of their genetics, while others subscribe to the belief that how they live today will have benefits down the road.

As I'm sure most of you know, I am not a doctor! I have the utmost respect for those who practice medicine; they have improved our world in immeasurable ways, for which I am eternally grateful.

Today I came across a medical website while looking up issues related to prostate. Stick with me here! I was researching a condition called Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. As I read, the question "Can prostate problems be prevented?" came up.

This website stated:

"The best protection against prostate problems is to have regular medical checkups that include a careful prostate exam."

I was so thoroughly disappointed with this perspective of "prevention". The best protection against these problems is not simply finding them, instead we should be proactive with our choices to prevent them in the first place!

In a way, we hand our health over to these medical professionals and rely on them to provide us with the answers to our health problems. Often what they offer is relief from symptoms in the form of medication, not being able to address the root of the problem.

What if I told you that there are everyday things you can do to keep your body in balance and avoid the problem all together?

The answers lie in nutrition and lifestyle! You have the ability to improve your health and your life through holistic nutrition. My goal is to empower you to take these steps to a happier, healthier life.

Ready to take back control of your health and your life? Ask me how!
